To maximize efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness in procurement, Grigford
integrates advanced IT tools and technologies.
Our procurement operations are fully digitalized, covering everything from
indent receipt to inspection, dispatch, and transportation. With an in-house ERP
and EDMS system, our functions are seamlessly connected across multiple
locations.
In line with transparency goals and cost efficiency, Grigford has implemented
e-procurement and reverse auctioning. We also provide specialized inspection and
expediting services through seven Regional Procurement Offices (RPOs) in India
and three international inspection offices in London, Milan, and Shanghai. Our
inspection ensures timely delivery and adherence to specifications across client
projects.
Grigford maintains a robust database, encompassing over 2400 vendors and more
than 450 contractors across various construction domains. We perform regular
evaluations of vendor and contractor performance as part of our registration
process.
Our services extend to customs clearance and planning for the transportation of
equipment to project sites, including shipment arrangements, customs contract
registration, duty assessment and clearance, insurance, and site delivery. For
oversized consignments, route surveys are conducted to identify the safest and
most efficient routes.
Dedicated to government policies, Grigford actively implements the Public
Procurement Policy 2012 for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), supporting
increased MSE participation, particularly among those owned by SC/ST
entrepreneurs. Through collaborations with SC/ST organizations like DICCI,
Grigford has organized numerous supplier events and initiatives to drive product
development.
Grigford is committed to fostering the growth of Indian industry. In support of
the “Make in India” initiative, we actively promote local industry engagement
and encourage international industries to establish manufacturing bases in
India.
